Hi! No, it is completely wired. Must be connected to the receiver. I consider this microphone (AT831B) is more for passive situations, interviews where the speaker does not need to move from one place to another while shooting. Of course you can, but you need someone to watch cables and connections.Enter an answer to this question.

Can I connect the AT 831B ( with the power supply module ) in an acoustic guitar amp with a XLR input and already providing a phantom power of 16 V?
The AT831B can operate on phantom power ranging from 9-52 volts and also using battery. There would be no issue connecting to a device that provides 16V phantom via XLR.
