I have the T6i. How do I set this up so that it takes the photo after 5 secs, or can it only do 2sec? I have the camera set at 5 sec, but it still takes the photo asap so I don't have time to put my arm down for self portraits Thanks!
Asked by: elle
The RC-6 has instant & 2 sec delay options only. I like using the RC-6 because it is fast and reliable. The option you are interested (is built into your camera and while you many find it in the marked on a remote setup, if it does exitist will cost alot). The simple cost effective way is to make use of the wireless tool on your T6I. Connect to your Iphone (not sure about Android but you can check). I have a 77D and it works on many Iphone versions. See this video for details on how to set up for your specific camera. It will be more tedious than using the RC-6 but you should have no issues. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tsMcu_-iBNE
