Like others here, I feel these should have been included in my ELB-500 2-light kit. You can protect the bare flash tubes and also shoot with these in place. But more diffusion is needed and the 7-inch Impact diffuser sock works perfectly. Stretch the sock over the ELB-500 small reflector, then snap the Multifunction Cap over it. Voila! Great diffusion in a tiny package. Outside shooting a portrait on a windy day? The Answer.
This is another item I think that Elinchrom should have included with their heads which is why I give it only one star.
