This is the kind of light stand that you will want to bring with you all the time if you are into location shooting. It is very portable when folded. It will fit your camera backpack bottle holder and any roller. Lite but very sturdy. I will not hesitate to put an expensive Profoto B10, B10 plus on this one. The legs spreads nicely and you can just tell that this was made with people with great minds. I bought it with travel in mind and this stand will not disappoint. Best decision ever!!!

Best compact lightstands. The perfect balance between portability and stability. Simply fantastic. One little perk that I overlooked is that one of the legs has an extension that slides out for counterbalance of a light that might be a little forward heavy. I will be adding more of them.

What is the minimum operating height for this stand? Obviously the “folded” length is 20”, but not operating height unless the legs expanded flat to the floor.

The minimum height with the legs splayed out as far as they will go and none of the extensions raised is 20". The folded height is also 20".

Chances are it will tip over with the AD400pro and a softbox.
