Will the pelican 1520 fit a canon eos-1ds mark ii upright? The camera is 6.2 inches tall; just wondering how it will fit with the foam bottom. I want to put it in lens attatched.

I have the 5DR with a Vello grip which came with the camera and I'm guessing that it is more or less the same size as the Canon grip and the answer is...No...it does not fit attached to the camera comfortably in the case. C

Will this case be able to hold a NIKON D610 with a battery grip connected? Not interested if the camera and grip has to be put on its side or upside down Please help. Thanks
I wouldnt recommend the height of this case to house a Nikon D610 + battery grip because the Nikon would be 4.4 high and then adding the battery grip I was looking at it is 1.8 for a total of 6.2 leaving hardly and room in the 1520 case. It is only 6.7-8 wide to fit inside.Robert

Has anyone used this case for a NightForce TS-82 Spotting scope? I'm concerned about the 82mm Objective lens not having enough padding. It's approximately 4.25 in diameter.
I am using this case for my vortex razor HD 27-60x85 spotting scope, and it works just fine imo.
