Would this support a 90 d & tamron 150-600 g2 without damaging unit or window?
I've used this window mount with my 5d and same Tamron lens but its a lot of weight on the window. If you bump the setup it could crack the window glass. It's doable but you have to be real careful.

Not sure about cameras, but spotting scopes that this can be used for have a second hole that the "pin" goes into to prevent the scope from turning on top of the quick-release plate.

how do I attach the QS-36 quick release plate to the PH-304 window mount?
In the picture on this site you see a "lever" behind the plate. Flipping the lever to the left release the plate. Put the plate in the opening and close the lever and it locks the plate in place.
