The Manfrotto 504PLONG Quick Release Mounting Plate is the long version of the standard camera plate for the Manfrotto 504HD fluid head. The extra length helps balance cameras with unusual weight distribution. the plate includes a single 1/4"-20 camera tie-down screw, a 1/4"-20 to 3/8"-16 adapter bushing, and two plastic video locating pins which can be used to prevent your camera from twisting on the plate.

Although the Manfrotto 577 QR adapter includes the 501PL plate, It also accepts the 504PLONG plate, as they are the same width.

The Manfrotto 504PLONG Long Quick Release Mounting Plate is not compatible with the Rhino Arc 2, which uses a Manfroto 501 type of connection. If you are looking for a replacement plate then I would recommend the Rhino Camera Gear Quick Release Plate for Rhino Arc II(BH #RHQRPLATE), or if yo uare wanting to try a longer plate the Manfrotto 501PLONG Quick Release Video Camera Plate(BH #MA501PLONG ) would be the plate to use.
