RODE MICON CABLE 1.2M Overview

This Rode MiCon Cable measures 1.2 in length and is intended for use with a wide variety of wireless systems, the Rode HS1 headset microphone, and Rode Lavalier microphones. The cable is shielded and Kevlar reinforced. It's compatible with the HS1-B, the HS1-P, the Rode Lavalier, the PinMic, and the PinMic-Long.

This cable utilizes Rode's proprietary Micon connections, and requires a separately available adapter to interface with third-party wireless transmitters, preamplifiers, and other equipment.

A expensive cable for what it does

While this cable is nice a thin, it is proprietary and in turn expensive. The cables durability does seem good however. But is not really reinforced properly in my view. The cable is reinforced with a hard plastic. But it should be made of rubber to help the cable bend rather then kinking it.

I have a Rodelink wireless lab system. Is this the correct cable to replace the included cable with the Rodelink? I seem to have damaged mine and it is out of the warranty period.

I believe you are referring to Lav system, this is the cable between the Lav Microphone and the Rodelink box. I suggest you buy 2 of these, one to use and one for a spare as they do get damaged and quit.
