I have R6 and Canon Mount Adapter EF-EOS R, can I use the expender with 400mm L f5.6? How will be the autofocus performance?
Asked by: Uday
Yes, the Canon Extender EF 1.4X III can be used with a Canon R6 via the Canon Mount Adapter EF-EOS R and the EF 400mm f/5.6L lens. Autofocus performance will remain reliable, though it may be slightly slower in low-light conditions due to the reduced maximum aperture of f/8.

I am using a canon are six mirror, less body with a sigma 150 to 600 mm contemporary lens. Will this work with that combination?
Asked by: Mark D
The Canon Extender EF 1.4X III is incompatible with the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary Lens for Canon EF. Instead, use the Sigma TC-1401 1.4x Teleconverter for Canon EF. This teleconverter is compatible with Canon R series mirrorless cameras when using the Canon Mount Adapter EF-EOS R. Here is the link: https://bhpho.to/43dSTYD.

will this fit a will this extender work with a Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2?
Asked by: Jeff
I'm sorry, no, Canon converters only work with Canon L series pro lenses, like the 70-200 and 100-400. Tamron makes a converter that would work. You can click on the link below to view: https://bhpho.to/3db5gf2
