Sold as a set of four, these made in the USA Mini QD Loops System Connectors from OP/TECH USA feature a mini 3/8" QD clasp with a nylon cord that attaches to small connection points on your camera or binoculars. These connectors allow you to connect your gear to any OP/TECH USA neck straps that have a mini 3/8" QD clasp. The Mini QD Loops support a tensile strength of 2.5 lb and are approximately 2.5" long. Each connector includes one female quick disconnect and one male with loop.

Can these OP/TECH Mini QD Loops support a full size DSLR?
Uncertain because I am using them on a Nikon B700 mid sized camera and I don't disconnect the camera so the buckles don't get worn. However, I suspect that they may be okay but might look a little undersized or weak for a full sized DSLR. In my situation they work really well.

The picture shows two sets, but the ad copy states set of 4 . Which is correct. Are there 4 pieces (2 sets), or are there indeed twice what is pictured - 4 sets?

Which size OP/TECH Mini QD Loops, 1.0mm or 1.5mm, is the best fit for the strap lugs on the Canon G7X Mark II?
I have used the the 1.0mm on my G9X MKII for a year, no problems. I think the 1.0mm is a good fit vs. the 1.5mm. I wondered about the weight capacity of the 1mm vs the 1.5mm so I contacted the company. They said the weight capacity is the same, that the breaking point is not the cord, and that the safety factor is a 2.5 lb capacity for both the 1 and 1.5mm.
