The Tripp Lite SmartRack Premium Enclosure with Doors and Side Panels (37") is a 42U rack that supports high density server and networking applications, and mission-critical equipment.. You can use the rack for housing equipment weighing up to 3000 lb (1360.7kg). With a maximum usable depth of 37" (94cm), the open frame rack provides ample space for equipment mounting and is fully compatible with hot-aisle / cold-aisle data center configurations.
Supporting cooling, cable management, power distribution, and monitoring accessories, the enclosure ensures uninterrupted critical server and network equipment operations. You can also use the enclosure with airflow optimization and cable management accessories. Integrated into the rack are 4 interior vertical posts with square-hole openings to facilitate mounting.
Vendor-neutral square hole / cage nut mounting makes the open frame rack compatible with all 19" (48.2cm) EIA-310-D equipments. Equipped with toolless accessory mounting rails with slots, the rack allows quick installation of 2 vertical PDUs or adjacent cable managers.
The enclosure has reversible and locking rear doors with a split-rear design that reduces clearance requirements for service entry and allows the enclosure to be placed closer to a wall. With 2 locking removable side panels on either sides of rear door and front door, the enclosure offers easy installation and servicing. You can easily remove the top panel without using any tools. Holes are provided in the top panel for easy cable management.
In addition to adjustable mounting rails that incorporate an easy-view depth index for ensuring perfect rail placement, the rack also has integrated baying tabs to facilitate combination of several frame racks in rows for mounting standard data center baying applications. A fully-assembled design allows you to use the rack right out of the box. Pre-installed removable casters support up to 2250 lb (1020.5kg) of equipment weight while the rack is in motion. With the help of removable leveling feet, you can position the rack on uneven floors.
You can easily roll the rack through standard height commercial doorways owing to its compact design (84.5 x 27.75 x 47” / 214 x 70.5 x 119 cm). All components can be grounded to the rack structure, which provides an efficient grounding system via multiple ground connections.
An open bottom facilitates easy cable access. Stabilizing brackets are used for safe and secure shipment of racks, which can later be reattached to the inside or the outside of the rack. You can easily deploy the open frame rack in harsh environments such as warehouses owing to its durable textured powder coat finish.
Made of additional reinforcement and shock-absorbing material, the enclosure offers protection and safe reshipping of the rack. You can custom-configure enclosures with network and server hardware along with UPS systems, PDUs, KVM switches and a variety of other devices prior to final installation.
