I think It's A great turntable. I'm 65 disabled, music and collecting audio components is my hobby along with repairing them when they break. I have A feeling I won't be working on this anytime soon. I read some reviews and watched some unboxing on the tube and the ones that had less then a good to great review I don't agree with. The very best thing is falling asleep on a day dreaming day and not worrying about the turntable shutting off.

I've only had the turntable a week or so but the results are impressive. The last turntable was a Garrard SL95B (1969), in the day very nice. It gave up the ghost 20 years ago. All the vinyl (mine and my wife's) have been idle a long time and with new vinyl becoming more in favor, I decided on the Denon. Simple, stylish and flawless operation - it sounds great.

Look, my wife got me this as a birthday gift, USPS stole my vinyl player, and now I have to buy a replacement and have USPS reimburse me -- it should be telling that I'm buying the same one again.
But, anyway, it's a good vinyl player. Comes built-in with a decent cartridge, proper adjustable-weight arm, the automatic arm is light years better than my placement, rubber mat and feet, and belt-drive for vibration reduction -- it's all great. I can't imagine you can get much better without dropping a few dimes into it.
Some people might say, but what about all the features? It only has a built-in preamp and no usb, what about that? Well, having a preamp built into the vinyl player could potentially have magnetic issues (arguably), but having a separate amp also let's you have more customization options with respect to speakers (ie. amperage) or those unnecessary digital features. With respect to usb, if you're getting a vinyl player to use USB, do yourself a favor and just get a Tidal subscription and forget vinyl, it'll probably be better quality as you'll lose information in your little vinyl setup with analog-to-digital conversions.
Anyway, great player with all of the basic principles a new enthusiast is bound to love at a good price.
(Was even better in that sale a year ago, but you never know when another sale will happen!)

I got this turntable 3 years ago and use it a lot. It is plugged into a Denon F109 micro-chain. The sound is perfect, the design very sleek (grey version), easy to plug and install in a few minutes. I don't have any experience with external pre-amps but the one integrated in the turntable sounds very good to me. I recommend Denon.

Cheaply made. Start/Stop buttons cheap. My old DP-37F was much better, was less money and was direct drive

Got this as a birthday gift for my partner. L don’t know much about audio quality, however lots of review time and recommendations from friends lead me to this beauty. Needless to say, I’m happy to have the sleek player out on display in our home, and the sound-play quality is much better than our last turntable.
