The DP-300F comes with a MM (Moving Magnet) cartridge. The cartridge and the stylus (DSN-85) are made exclusively for DENON.

Is an RCA connector cable included with the unit?
The unit does include an RCA cable, but it is very short and directly wired to the base. For this reason it would not work in my situation and I returned the turntable.

Yes. And the lid is kind of a smoky charcoal color, not the clear plastic that it looks like in this picture. It is very sleek and nice looking and it works very well.

Is the start feature of this turntable full mechanical? As in, can I press the button while it is off... and once it is turned on queues up?
Yes, press the start button and the turntable starts spinning, the arm raises, moves over and the needle is placed on the record. Push the stop button and everything is reversed and turntable turns off.Very nice turntable! When setting up initially make sure the drive belt goes around the capstan drive. There is a vertical stud that looks like the capstan drive. I mistakenly ran the belt around the non-capstan stud, turned on the player and thought something was wrong. Made noise but the table didn't turn. Finally realized my mistake and put the belt on the capstan. Very easy to set up and use!
