Would you recommend this microphone over the AT2050? I have the AT2050, but I want a better overall mic, I am also planning on getting a better preamp or to get a mixer instead.
The AT2050 is a fine microphone but I'll give RODE the edge here. 10 year warranty too!

Does this mice support phantom power? Can I connect the mice to my ZOOM H4n audio recorder? It has to xlr outlets.
The Rode NT2-A does require phantom power to operate. It can be connected to a recorder like the Zoom H4n which offers XLR inputs and phantom power.
