Does a good job of protecting your tripod legs when collapsed, your shoulder when carrying your tripod, and your hands in the cold, particularly for aluminum tripods. Grip the legs well and don't slide. In my case, the wraps left some Velcro surface exposed.

It is my own fault that I ordered the wrong length - ordered 7 instead of 11 inch. In the end it was a happy mistake, I think the longer 11 inch would have been a little too long for the top section of my 4 section Series 2 Gitzo Mountaineer 2542 when I have already installed the hammock / holder as well. These fit the lop leg sections but just barely wrap around to secure the velcro. It means they are a little tight to install but they stay firmly in place.They are not very thick but they are padded enough to make shoulder carry comfortable.

Not too bulky, good amount of cushioning, and small and lightweight. Thin enough that my tripod legs fold without a problem. I got the 7 inch length, that gives me padding where I need it and no excess padding that is not being used.

If you have cold tripod legs ... and want to keep your hands warm when moving or adjusting your tripod in cold weather ... this is the answer.

The leg diameter is fine but they don't cover the length of the leg and it's not even close despite this is the one recommended for that model tripod

These could be an inch longer. Quite pricy for the size.

I'm using this with the Gitzo GT 2542T. Leg coat recommended this wrap size for me. I got it because the rubber on the centre column was knocking against the top section of the leg. It was leaving significant wear and tear. It does its job well protects the leg from being marred by the centre column. The reason I gave this three stars is because when I was looking for a size, I used the lenscoat website. It suggested the 107 (this one). When I received it, it doesn't fit the full length of the top section. There is a gap on the top section of the carbon fibre that is uncovered - unlike the picture.

These are nice but expensive. Very well built. If I had any advice on them it would be to make them a bit thinner. They are twice as thick as standard neoprene already on tripod legs, particularly where you attach the velcro. They do not slip or rotate, though, which is as advertised so appreciate that. Overall, I like them and am going to use on my two tripods which were, combined, short exactly a 3 pack... How convenient! Recommended....
