I already had one set of these, which I robbed from one tripod to use on another. Therefore, although these have not arrived yet, I am familiar with their quality. These don't provide as much padding as I wish they did, but were they thicker, it would be harder to close my Traveler legs around them.

..on a Neewer travel pod. fit fairly firm, very little movement. The only thing I wish that the pieces would have a 'sticky' strip inside to keep them from moving completely

Compact tripod protection

Got these to protect the legs of my small CF tripod, which I carry in a bag with light stands that scratch them up pretty badly. They are a little clunky to get on just right, but stay in place well once you do and do prevent scratches. These are a better, more compact option than bulky pipe insulation, but are a little pricey, especially since many tripods come with foam pads on the top legs.

I bought these to pad the legs of my tripod while carrying a spotting scope on my shoulder, rather than to provide insulation on a cold day. They were easy to install and fit my Manfrotto tripod well. I've used them once on a 5-6 mile birding walk; they didn't provide quite as much cushioning as I'd expected, but maybe that was to be expected given the distance I walked. They stayed in place throughout. Worth the purchase.

Decent product. Could be better. Would be nice if LensCoat could implement a zipper instead of velcro. It does what it was designed for and the quality of the product is very good. I just wish the design of the closure was a little more refined. Love the digital camo design.

I hadn't measured the first section of my tripod when I ordered. The covers came and were very high-quality, but they were too long. So I searched the specs for the same brand and found leg wraps that were only 11 inches long. They turned out to be perfect, and went on easily. I had worried that the travel tripod might stick out too much with leg wraps on them, but the tripod folds as neatly as it did before.

Bought these to protect my neck and shoulders while toting a heavy tele lens and camera combo on a tripod over long distances. Very happy with these leg wraps. Look good, easy to attach, and provide excellent comfort. Just what I needed!

LensCoat LegCoat Wraps 111 would fit tripods with leg diameters between 0.75 to 1.18". Your Manfrotto MT290XTC3US 290 Xtra Carbon Fiber Tripod legs diameter is 1'' therefore it would fit nicely. In terms of lenght the wrap would be a bit short since is only 11'' and the top section of your Manfrotto legs are 16''.

Will these fit a Gitzo Systematic Series 2? Model number is Gitzo GT2542S. It's listed as a accessory on that page even though it is discontinued, but I want to be sure. I thought the Systematics might have thicker legs.
