Tripp Lite SmartPro 1.5kVA Line Interactive Sine Wave UPS provides a continuous supply of battery power for connected server, network and telecommunications equipment during electrical failures. It also safeguards devices against surges, spikes, lightning, and electrical disturbances. Key to this functionality is an automatic voltage regulation (AVR) system, which maintains line power operation with an input voltage range of 75 to 147. Interfaces are in the form of a NEMA 5-15P (120V 15A) input connector and 8 NEMA 5-15R (120V) connectors.

This UPS readily installs in a standard rack chassis (2U) using the supplied 4-post rackmount hardware. Optional accessories are available for tower (2-9USTAND), two post rack 2POSTRMKITWM & wallmount installations.

This UPS supports remote network accessibility via an SNMP/Web card slot and EPO interface. Local PC communication and control is also possible via the USB and serial ports. A half load runtime of 21 minutes can be expanded by connecting a single BP36V15-2U battery pack or multiple BP36V42-3U battery packs.

Operation is further enhanced by an Emergency Power Off (EPO) interface and by an on-board 3-bank PDU switching which supports load shedding and remote-reboot of connected equipment. LED readouts provide precise information on current battery charge status as well as utility power and voltage regulation status. System reliability is further enhanced by audible alarm and self test functions.

I bought one unit and soon after the second. Pleased with the straight forward status menu and options. One week after installing we had a power outage and the unit help up fine even though the outage was long term. The servers shut down and the unit lasted as long as expected. Once back on unit charge quickly and no issue. Pleased with purchase.

The product works very well, I gave 4 star because the ups apparently is not too heavy, but I wasn´t able to place it by my self! Because it was too heavy.
