I have this and it seems not to play well with the TTL. Is there a way to make it work or do I need to use manual. Most times I use manual on my camera and set it for pictures and use it as a fill but in darker settings this does not work well?
Asked by: Sherry
TTL results can very widely. Its best to test and practice with your flash and then use TTL or manual as needed for different situations.

question

how many stops of light lost?
Asked by: James
HI Jim B,I haven't tested this for light loss, and only used it once. I shoot interiors for realtors and builders, so I used this on one of my Nikons (which was a very tight fit and hard to get on) just for some fill light, and it worked very well. I wasn't paying attention to the amount of light output, just the quality of the light, which was very nice. If I had to guess, I would say it lost about 1 1/2 stops.
