should work fine, best to reformat the SD cards for Mac in Disk Utility, except if you are going to use them in a camera or audio recorder, which requires PC format

what's the maximum capacity card this reader can handle? can it handle 128GB? 64GB?
According to the IOGear website, there is no size limitation. I have used it successfully with 32gb and 64gb cards with no issue.
