Key Features
- 0.9 Optical Density
- MRC Multi-Resistant Coating
- Darkens Entire Image
- Allows Reduced Shutter Speed
The 77mm B+W MRC 103M ND 0.9 Filter is a neutral density filter with a 8x filter factor that provides a 3-stop exposure reduction. Its 0.9 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By increasing the aperture or slowing your exposure time, you can control depth of field and convey movement more easily. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters.

question
Would this filter vignette on the full frame Nikon 16-35mm @ 16mm? ... thanks
If you are using only this single filter it will not vignette on this lens at 16mm. If you have stacked it upon another lens there is the possibility it will vignette.

question
This is 77mm but suggested as an accessory for the 85mm Sony 1.4 Gmaster lens.I'm confused. Will it fit the Sony 85mm Gmaster? If it will, what's up with the disparity in mm sizes? Thanks.
Hi Ben, I have no idea about this question. It fits my Canon lenses and is a great filter. Steve

question
I do not have a lot of experience with Neutral Density filters. I bought one that is a 10 stop, and I did not realize that I would not be able to see through it. So it is much more work setting up my shot. Will I be able to see through a 3 stop filter?
Yes, You can easily see thru it.
