Lowepro Orion Daypack 200 (Black/Gray)

The black and gray Orion Daypack 200 from Lowepro is built for both durability and comfort. Constructed from weather-resistant nylon, this daypack is meant to do just that - be a handy and manageable bag to take on that day trip to the country. Starting with a lovely black exterior that contains two  8" (20.3cm) gray zippered slash pockets that can hold things like gloves, maps, water bottles or even some photo gear, this bag has more than enough space to accommodate anything you might need for a day in the field. 

The pack is divided in two halves with upper and lower storage areas. The top compartment is a dual zippered pull-out style that is fine for holding a sweater, sandwich or perhaps a small collapsed umbrella as well as other medium-sized items. Inside, the top area, there's also a large 9" (22.9cm) airline mesh pocket in which you can stuff maps and other small items.

The lower area is where you store your camera gear. Dual zippers with pull tabs give access to a section that has 2 long dividers and 2 short dividers - all removable and held in place via touch fasteners. For added security, the lower area is also secured with an exterior snap clasp closure.

The two shoulder straps are padded as is the ergonomically contoured and comfortable back pad. For ease of carrying through tight spots, there is also a strong top carry handle.

The bottom of the bag has two snap claps and nylon loops at either end with which you can secure a small tripod or a jacket. The exterior also has four small nylon loops for securing additional items.
