This Impact D-1000 1000W AC Analog Dimmer Control gives you stepless 1-100% power control over your quartz halogen or incandescent light source up to 1000W. Unlike other models, the dimmer is equipped with a 3-prong US grounded plug with heavy-gauge 6'4" cord, as well as a 3-prong input for the light to be dimmed. The lightweight plastic D-1000 features a simple sliding rheostat control that can be operated by hand or foot.

Have A Few Of These For Low Budget Shoots. One Was Faulty And The Company Reached Out To Me Directly To Offer Repair And Replacement Which Was Swift And Courteous. Would Definitely Buy Again Purely Based Off The Customer Service As Well As The Product Having A Good Value For The Price.

Works as expected and able to dim the bulb so low. Only thing I dislike a bit is the placement of the socket on the same side of the wire enters the control unit. Not a functionality issue, but a not so great design choice.

Will this work in a 220v environment? I will be traveling to Russia and have already bought 220v light bulbs, but not sure if simply adapting this dimmer to their prongs will work. I have traveling before, but not with a dimmer.

Yes. But the led bulbs have to be dimmable in order for the unit to function.

Will using this dimmer change the color temperature of the tungsten fresnel light?

Yes when a fresnel tungsten is dimmed down it will warm the color.

The Impact D1000 1000W AC Analog Dimmer Control (110-120V) is compatible with a quartz bulb in the Source 4 Leko 750W. It will dim, and the color temperature will change and reduce as it is dimmed.
