question

what is the delivery charge to San Juan, Puerto Rico?

You may calculate your actual shipping options/order totals by adding the items you want to a shopping cart. It will then list the shipping options, descriptions, ETA's and fees to your location.

question

what is the weight?
Asked by: mike B.
It is a thin, light weight (a few lbs., total) but opaque material. It fits in a provided carry bag where bunched up it takes the size a little larger than a basketball.

This backdrop is a bit too wide. Do you offer a narrower one? Or can it be cut? Thank you!
Asked by: Lynda
I would not want to cut because it might need to be wider at another time. I used plastic clamps attached to the stand to make the fabric taunt and smooth. Just hanging down, it was not smooth. I would think you could fold it and then clamp. If you decide to cut, you just need to finish the seam. It is thick and stretchy fabric.

Does the texture of the fleece-like material require care about keeping out of focus? Sounds like it's not as smooth as paper - even stretched out...?
Asked by: Scott
The fleece background is not as smooth as paper but is a lot easier to carry to a location shoot than a 9 foot seamless roll. I use it to make background removal easier. If your subject is a few feet from the background, the texture won't show.

question

Is this material dense enough to use to black out light from large windows?
Asked by: Aaron
You can see a little light through the fabric when you hold it up to a window but it's almost a black out fabric.

question

Is this material dense enough to block light from windows?
Asked by: Anonymous
The fabric is a fairly open weave with the fleece projecting through. The more you stretch the fabric, the more the weave opens up. It will block most light, but there will be bleed-through, which you want in a backdrop so you can backlight it or gel it. For a window I would consider doubling it (if you get the long version) or teaming it with a so-called room darkening curtain, some of which can be had reasonably at places like WM.
