Auray MS-5230F Reviews
Auray MS-5230F
I have just started doing voiceovers; I needed a good, stable stand to record on. The Auray stand is great, and since I am working out of a clothes closet, it is great for positioning the mic for maximum performance.
Flimsy and poorly made
These mic stands were purchased with the intent to use them regularly (once a week or so), but after the second use, the crossbar hub could not keep tension well, so the crossbar would fall and drop the mic. Even before using it, I could tell it was poorly made because there is hard plastic melted into multiple of the screws that are supposed to allow you to adjust the mic stand. Adjusting it was near impossible past a certain point because of the hard plastic blocking the grooves of the screw.
