Exhibition Canvas Matte Archival Inkjet Paper (17" x 40' Roll) is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well on Epson 3880 I print on this material with an Epson 3880 which does not accept roll paper. This is accomplished by cutting appropriate lengths from the roll and feeding them into the front feed slot. The canvas should be very carefully marked so that the section that is cut from the roll is cut exactly at 90 degrees to the length of the roll. (I use a T-square and a ball point pen to draw a straight cut line and then cut carefully with 8 or 10 good quality shears) The way to get this done is to insert a large support sheet into the front feed slot and then insert the canvas on top of the support sheet. Then align the canvas and remove the support sheet. When printing starts, you may want to re-insert the support sheet as the canvas begins to feed out of the front of the 3880 so that the leading edge of the canvas does not drop down below the paper guide. Once the canvas is over the paper guide, the support sheet can be removed. Using Epson's custom profile for this canvas produces spectacular color images. You may also want to try increasing the color density in the Paper Configuration menu. I usually use +20%. I have not tried B&W printing on it as yet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Surprisingly good image quality. I wanted to try canvas printing so I started with Epson canvas because I use an Epson 3880 printer and I figured that on some level the canvas and the printer would get along and some variables would be eliminated. The canvas is very bright white and of course it looks and feels like a textile because that's what it is. My first thought was that the image quality could not be very good because of the texture of the canvas compared to the flatness of paper. (The image quality is amazing.)You have to know what the necessary settings are for your particular printer and how to load the canvas with your printer. Do research online to figure all of this out. Don't get discouraged because it can fiddly. It's really easy. Anyway, once you get that figured out just use the correct Epson Canvas color profile. This profile is excellent and I'm not a fan of the Epson profiles. When I saw that first print coming out of the printer I was amazed. Bright color and plenty of detail even though the canvas is heavily textured. The surface is matte for sure but that can be changed when you varnish the canvas later on. You must varnish the surface although the printed surface is more durable than it is on another popular brand of canvas.Varnish is available in matte, satin and gloss. I use the Hahnemuhle Satin varnish and it adds immensely to the image quality by making the color more intense and deep. I'm saying this because don't completely judge the image until you varnish it. Once again, look up the correct procedure for varnishing on the internet.I gave several of these canvas prints to someone for stretching and I have done some stretching myself and the complaint is that this Epson Canvas is really thick and makes the stretching difficult at this 17 inch width. If you are working in the bigger sizes it will not be a big problem though. The advantage of the thickness is that it ends up being very durable and if you are not stretching it but just hanging it up as is, this extra strength can be a big advantage. The verdict is that this Epson Canvas is a very good product and I can tell you that I'm normally not a big fan of Epson papers and profiles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Buy It's a little difficult to find all the correct printer settings but once they are figured out for your printer, the quality is fantastic. I am personally using it to print photos and paint over top and it works perfectly for both. It is a primed canvas that works perfectly for painting and creates beautiful prints in both color and black and white.
