Epson S045257 reviews

Exhibition Canvas Matte Archival Inkjet Paper (24" x 40' Roll) is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for fine art I use this canvas for my fine art work using my Epson 7890 24 printer. Being matt it prints a little flat but I use a glazing that makes the colors pop and give my images a painterly feel. It has a good feel to it and you can lower the resolution for printing to about 180 and the prints look great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I use a alot of this. I use a lot of this matte canvas in my Canon ipf6400 24in printer making fine art prints. That being said I also coat the printed canvas with a clear gloss gel mediun to pop the colors and to give the work a brush stoke texture.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crisp and Clean! Some canvas leaves you with an uninspiring faded print. This canvas, however, is super white and gives you brilliant colors. Well worth the purchase.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from SO wanted to love this. READ ALL: Pros and cons depending on your use... Huge epson Fan since 1998. Printing on a Sure Color p9000 commercial edition. Amazing printer. However, this paper has unfortunately brought me nothing but frustration. It has a great texture, prints pretty nicely. Great price. End of pros. It is SO EASILY damaged, you can barely even handle it with white gloves without it being scratched or smudged (even after a full 24 hours of drying time). I’m pretty sure the paper has some pre-etched scratches and imperfections from the manufacturing process, as so many prints have come out of the printer scratched/damaged without me even touching the surface. (AndI’vepurchased two rolls, boththe same results.) I haven't even attempted to sell one of my prints on this canvas because I have yet to have one come out of the printer in good enough condition. Although clients seem to love the texture of a canvas print, at this point, I'm just going to print everything on Epson hot press, cold press or enhanced matte. As anotherreviewer mentioned, if you plan to coat the canvas with a gel medium, maybe those scratches and imperfections won’t make a difference at all. But if you’replanning to sell a print straight out of the printer… Istronglyrecommendlooking forsomething more stable. Side note: I SO RARELY ever leave a negative review (maybe 5 in the last decade), as I own a business myself and I understand how terribly a negative review can reflect on one's business. But I feel a need to post this, as I don't want anyone else going through the frustration I have with this product. I've wasted so many hours and so much money trying to make this work, but it just doesn't seem to live up to the Epson name. Try foryourself, but order sheets or a very small roll before committing. Hope this ishelpful.
