The CL-WIFI Interface for 788T from Sound Devices is a compact hardware accessory that provides your 788T or 788T-SSD digital recorder with WiFi connectivity. The unit connects to the recorder with a single cable, and also draws power from the recorder, so no batteries or power adapters are required. There are status LEDs for power and WiFi activity, and the external antenna with an SMA connector can be precisely positioned.
Sound Devices has made a freely-downloadable CL-WIFI controller app that can be installed on iOS devices such as the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS version 4 or greater. This app lets you control your recorder wirelessly from your Apple device.
