It would be really nice if Rycote made these in a dark gray or black color. There are no light gray cameras.

These things are awesome

They take some fineness to get onto small microphone holes, but work great.

Will this work on a camcorder Sony DCR-TRV110E ?
Asked by: Gloria A.
As per what Mark has said but do note there is a cold shoe mount on top for an external mic which I would expect to improve the sound like this https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1183909-REG/rode_videomicro_compact_on_camera.html

question

What os it actually ? Will I be provided with the mic ? I dont know how to use the mic
Asked by: Nihar J.
A mic is built into the camera and visible as a small hole in the camera body. Wind passing over the hole makes a roaring noise in the micThis furry patch is applied over the hole and prevent or greatly reduces this wind noise. It has a special double face adhesive tape to attach to camera body.

question

Is there something like this that would work on the Canon 70D?
Asked by: Anonymous
It depends on the microphone placement on the camera. These are literally just a fuzzy whatsit with adhesive on the back. As long as there is a good clean spot on the camera to place it and the microphone port is small enough (smaller than the diameter of a pencil, for example) then it should work.
