This metal Mola Speed Ring is compatible with Broncolor Pulso flash heads and all Mola reflectors. Mola's patented reflector design permits you to get more quality out of less light by capturing all paths of light, regardless of direction as they leave the flash tube, and redirecting them toward the subject.

Judging by the pictures I thought this speed ring looked like the Bron insert from a cheap softbox speed ring. I ordered one anyway, but considering how expensive it is, I tried pulling apart a generic speed ring and mounting it while I waited for this Mola version to arrive. I was able to mount the generic one to the Demi, but it looked like it positioned the flash tube too far out the back of the dish. When the Mola version arrived I was pleasantly surprised. It didn't look anything like the pictures and seems to be a nicely cast aluminum, piece, not a re-branded generic. It is flat, so the flashtube will go into the Mola dish as far as possible. It fits fine in both my Siros and Unilite heads. Four stars because it still seems kind of expensive at almost 1/3 the cost of the Demi itself.
