What is the mm size? Will it fit my Canon compact macro lens EF 50mm, f2.5? I measured the inside diameter to be 51mm.
This cap would not wok for the compact macro lens EF 50mm f2.5 because this has special places it will clip into on the fisheye lens it is meant for. So it will not be able to fasten in place correctly on the 50 f/2.5 macro.

Unfortunately no. The 15mm f2.8 needs the Canon E-73 cap but the cap is no longer made.
