I use this adaptor to attach Nikon still lenses to my Somy EA50 video camera. Works with full-frame and DX lenses. DX lenses perform at their intended focal length, Full frame lenses are 60% longer (on my APC-sized video chip). Works great! Tight tolerances, no leakage, solid as a tank. Love the ability to adjust aperture on even G lenses. Not-Picks: thin blue aperture ring is hard to find. Lock screw is a flimsy diameter and scores the inside ring easily, so it sometimes moves to a previously made crater when locked down.

very smooth

i paid the extra money because i was told this adapter is very durable, i am using it with a sony fs700 i have three nikon prime i use with this adapter a 50mm 1.4, a 135mm 2.8 and a 190mm 2.8. these lenses work great and the image is beautiful. So far no issue with the adapter. the packaging was weird, the adapter came wrap in plastic, no box and no pouch.

Will this lens adapter work with the Nikon 600mm f/4 E FL ED VR lens? Can it control the aperture for manual control?
Asked by: Brian
That is an E type lens. This adapter is not compatible with E type lenses. Unfortunately it cannot change the aperture on an E lens.
