Misleading description won’t work with Profoto D3 Pro

This will not work with some other NON Elinchrom heads on the rotolux 69” box. Specifically will not work with Profoto, D1 D2, D3 or B1X heads because the umbrella slot is accessible using the Octabank.

Perfect for additionally modifying Elichrom strobes...

Very handy for diminishing, diffusing, or warming Ellinchrom strobes in soft boxes, octa-banks, umbrellas, or reflectors.

Does this reflector set work well with umbrella shaft position of Profoto B1,B2, D1?

While this set has not been tested with Profoto heads, it should fit as Profoto heads like the B1, B2, and D1 can accept both 7mm and 8mm umbrella shafts.

The Elinchrom Deflector Set for Softlite Reflectors and Rotolux Softboxes (B&H #ELDS2M) was designed to fit on many of the company's products. Very many of them are now discontinued, and so we regret that we are unable to test them. Having said that, the deflectors are adjustable and were designed to work with a variety of strobes. Moreover, they certainly do work with all of the modifiers that they are designed to fit and do leave substantial room for even moderately protruding flash tubes.

The defectors are inserted into the umbrella holder. For non Elinchrom lights you have to experiment to see if they can be made to line up. In most cases they will not.

I just bought the Rotalux Deep Octa with an Elinchrome Bowens Mount adapter, how do I use the diffuser, I really hope they didn't make this one part exclusive to their flashhead only.

unfortunately, it is just for the elinchrom heads. If by any chance the head that you have has the umbrella hole right next to the flashtube it might work. It's a really handy design. I wish that more companies adopted it.

It should fit snug, try rotating a quarter turn clockwise. I haven't used in a while.
