The EPLI Executive Precision Lighting Instrument is a sleek flashlight made of aircraft aluminum alloy, brass and stainless steel that looks more like a fine pen than a tactical flashlight. While it's lightweight and attractive enough to wear in a suit jacket or put inside your attaché case, it packs a 160 lumen punch of bright, white light which is strong enough to dazzle an aggressor. Features include a strobe setting for use as a beacon and a low (80 lumen) setting that's perfect for reading a map or menu.

This EPLI is as handy and pocket on a shirt-which is where it resides often. Big enough to do its job without being cumbersome. Offered mine to the wife recently and got that look , now the recent purchase rides in her purse to be handy for her use. THANKS
Great Little Light

As a maintenance engineer, I carry and use this light everyday. Fits in shirt pocket just like ink pen. Outshines the bigger heavier lights carried by the mechanics and electricians. I use mostly the higher output and still get a couple of weeks out of the batteries. Lost the first one I owned and had no doubts I would replace it with another one.

question
What mode does it start in when you turn it on?
It starts in high mode, then low and lastly strobe. To advance to the next setting. You must turn it off and then back on within about three seconds. If you wait longer it will default back to high. As the battery gets low on power it will start on high output and then automatically dim to low output.
