The EPLI Executive Precision Lighting Instrument is a sleek flashlight made of aircraft aluminum alloy, brass and stainless steel that looks more like a fine pen than a tactical flashlight. While it's lightweight and attractive enough to wear in a suit jacket or put inside your attaché case, it packs a 160 lumen punch of bright, white light which is strong enough to dazzle an aggressor. Features include a strobe setting for use as a beacon and a low (80 lumen) setting that's perfect for reading a map or menu.

question
What mode does it start in when you turn it on?
It starts in high mode, then low and lastly strobe. To advance to the next setting. You must turn it off and then back on within about three seconds. If you wait longer it will default back to high. As the battery gets low on power it will start on high output and then automatically dim to low output.
