This bracket is very useful and allows you to use the ml-3 and ml-2 remote when you have your Nikon flash attached to your camera

I needed a low cost device to hold my ML-3 remote control when I am using a flash in the flash bracket. The ML-2 is well built and serves that purpose well.

Poorly Designed Bracket

This Bracket is designed to be installed between a tripod head and the camera body. Which may not be convient or fast. I always have my L bracket attached to my camera bodies. And, this does not attach between the camera and L bracket nor on to the L bracket itself. For me, what is needed is a built in threaded screw that could be used to attach this bracket to an L bracket. Basically, I am not using this item because it just does not lend itself to how I use my camera. I think for most folks, not in a studio, this bracket would be inconvient at best. Think twice before buying.

I use the product with my remote shutter release, when I'm using my tripod, to prevent any picture bluring. It is very easy to use and allows for me to mount my flash unit on the camera and still use my infra-red remote shutter release...

Looks better now also

Not designed for use with an L-bracket. Does not serve my purpose. Should have come with its own screw.

question

I have a d 300s . How do i mount the ml 2/3 bracket to camera
Asked by: Anonymous
The long u-shaped part of the bracket fits between the camera and the tripod while the ML-3 slides into the small u-shaped piece on the end. Detailed instructions and a diagram can be found on page 12 of the ML-3 manual. A copy of the ML-3 manual can be downloaded from this address: http://bit.ly/1kwHREZ
