A cloning port for a NOAA weather radio appears to be a port for cloning like radios with like information, which is usually done in large quantities. Cloning duplicates the contents of Radio 1 (master radio) into Radio 2 (slave radio). However, tuning and alignment information are not affected by cloning. Are the time and date set automatically?
No, you have to go into the menu and set the time, the date is not an option on this radio. Also if you unplug the radio, you will have to reset the time.
