Machine-made from 100% cotton fiber, this double-sided paper offers superb ink handling and a traditional feel. It also incorporates some optical brightening agents to reach a brightness of 103% and a whiteness of 95%. Also, the 22.5-mil thick sheets are acid and lignin free as well as water resistant and calcium carbonate buffered in order to ensure true archival longevity.

For fine art photography prints this is my favorite paper and I've tried many. Great color saturation, vibrant and subtle colors print with excellent quality.

Snow White in the house!

I have an Epson R2880 printer and had been using Epson papers exclusively - lustre, glossy, matte, cold press smooth and bright - but whenever I printed a snow scene, the Epson papers had a yellowish tint. I tried Moab several years ago and found their paper to be perfect for pure whites in images. The only issue was occasional paper jam warnings whether top or rear feeding, because the printer is extremely sensitive to the slightest differences in thickness. The 300 Rag Bright is my go-to paper for almost every type of image.

Yes, the Moab Entrada Rag Bright 300 Paper is an Archival grade acid- and lignin-free paper. When used with Archival dye or pigment ink, the images can last a lifetime.

The Moab Entrada Rag Bright 300 Paper is similar in thickness and printing surface compared to the Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Bright White. However, the Moab paper is double sided while the Hahnemuhle is whiter.

Won't the, optical brighteners, make this a, non-archival print?

According to the manufacturers, the OBA's in the Moab Entrada Rag Bright 300 Paper do not affect the archival quality of a paper.  When the OBA’s break down and lose their fluorescence, this does not affect the integrity and longevity of the paper.  The OBA’s are added to the coating (not the paper).  The most significant factor to achievability and longevity is the ink.  This will be the first thing to diminish over time.  Important to use the manufacturers inks for longevity.  The longevity of the print will also be based on storage conditions.

No, the Moab Entrada Rag Bright 300 Paper (11 x 17", 25 Sheets) does not really have any give, and cannot be wrapped around stretcher bars.

I believe that the word Duo just means that it is printable on both sides. It is my understanding that all of the Entrada paper is that way. I think that they just worded it differently from one entry to the other.

Hi Jasper, Yes, the Moab Entrada Rag Bright 5x7 is compatible with the P800. Moab has free profiles available on their site for downlaod (www.moabpaper.com/icc-profiles-downloads/). The media type recommended is Enhanced Matte or Archival Matte or Ultra Premium Presentation Matte if using the sheet feeder; or Watercolor Radiant White if using the Fine Art Feeder Tray

Yes, the Entrada Rag Bright 300 is compatible with your printer and all inkjet printers. However, we don't have any profiles for your specific printer. It's best to choose the media type as 'Matte' when you're establishing your print settings.
