Combining superior construction with artistic and technical freedom, the Sennheiser Dual-Channel Stereo IEM System (G: 558 to 626 MHz) is built for professional use, yet affordable enough to fit the budget of even a modest size venue, postproduction house, audio studio, or mobile broadcast setup. The system is both rugged and reliable; it was designed to be portable, rack-mountable and road dependable.
This particular Dual-Channel Stereo IEM System was designed specifically for the 558 to 626 MHz frequency range and features Sennheiser's twin channel, wireless SR 2050-XP IEM Audio Transmitter and two EK 2000 IEM Portable Monitoring Diversity Receivers. The system also comes with four sets of matching Sennheiser IE4 Earphones for Wireless Monitor Applications.
The heart of Sennheiser's Dual-Channel Stereo IEM System is the reliable, versatile, and durable twin-channel SR 2050-XP IEM Wireless Monitoring / Audio Sound Transmitter. Road-tested and ultra dependable, the wireless transmitter is housed in a rugged 1 RU rack-mountable metal chassis. It features a substantial frequency bank system with 26 banks and each one supports 32 selectable channels. With such a sweeping span of frequency choices, users should have no problem finding a pristine, clear signal that's free from interference. Plus, for added flexibility, the SR 2050-XP IEM even supports switchable radio frequency (RF) output powers with 10, 30, 50, and 100mW options. This combination of range, durability, and versatility makes it an ideal solution for a variety of in-ear monitoring (IEM) applications ranging from the concert-hall stage and professional studio, to the back of a mobile production van and everywhere in between.
The receiving end of the twin channel SR 2050-XP IEM are the two Sennheiser EK 2000 IEM Diversity Receivers. They're intended for use with their monitoring systems and are completely compatible with any of the Sennheiser SK series transmitters. Together the twin transmitter and receivers provide reliable audio monitoring during stage performances, broadcasts and more. Plus, the EK 2000 IEM features adaptive diversity reception to reduce drop-outs. Each one is equipped with six banks of up to 32 tunable channels, and run on two 1.5V AA batteries. Acting as an extended antenna for the accompanying receivers, the IE 4 In-Ear Earphones provide excellent sound quality and comfort with a wide dynamic range. They include three sizes of interchangeable eartips, which help deliver the best fit for comfort and sound isolation as well as increased bass. Small and mighty, they are an integral part of the Sennheiser Dual-Channel Stereo IEM System.
