The 20mm f/4 Nikkor Non-AI was Nikon's first compact SLR-compatible ultra-wide angle lens and was popular with all levels of Nikon fans. Capable of focusing down to 12", the Nikkor 20mm f/4 offers dramatic perspectives in close-ups or the impression of vast expanses in scenic photography while taking up less space in your camera bag than most 50mm lenses.

This is a Non-AI lens and will not work properly on later Nikon bodies that require AI lenses for meter coupling. It is very suitable for Nikon F and F2 cameras (not the F2A or F2AS) and most Nikkormats.
