Bundled together by B&H for your convenience, this Rode Wireless GO Kit lets you pair your Wireless GO system with TRRS-enabled mobile devices, such as certain iPhones or iPads, so that you can capture high-quality audio while recording video. As such, it's useful for run-and-gun styles of filmaking and news gathering—styles that increasingly rely on mobile devices.

Use the Wireless GO system to transmit/receive crystal-clear audio over distances of up to 230'. The Wireless GO makes use of secure, Series III 2.4 GHz with 128-bit encryption, ensuring a reliable transmission every time. Use an external microphone with the transmitter, or use the transmitter itself as a microphone—one is built right into the unit.

You'll note the Wireless GO's receiver gives you a TRS output, making it compatible with many recording systems. However, smart devices such as iPhones and iPads sport TRRS connections.

It's only an extra "R", but inside this redundant letter resides a potential headache of connectivity issues. Luckily this kit solves these issues by providing you with a Rode SC7 3.5mm TRS to TRRS Adapter, thereby obviating any problems.
