The 6' long HF-STEADICAM SMPTE Fiber Cable Jumpers from Camplex are lightweight and flexible jumpers, allowing for minimal impact on camera moves. Suitable for use with Steadicam as well as jibs and other camera platforms, this fiber/copper composite cable is half the thickness of standard cables and is extremely flexible with a minimum bend radius of 1". The cable is able to achieve this degree of flexibility by removing the steel element that is used in standard cables to lend strength at the cost of flexibility.
Made from thin Mohawk 4.2mm SMPTE cable and LEMO FUW/PUW connectors, the cable conforms to LEMO assemble specification LEMO 3K.93C for cable termination (connectors) for both assembly and test standard. Please check camera and Steadicam platform type to determine power cable requirements before ordering. Camplex HF-STEADICAM SMPTE jumpers are designed to operate with local power. This cable uses lighter AWG power conductors to save weight and increase flexibility. As such, it may not be suitable for all applications where the power is provided by the CCU.
