PC lenses are designed for all-around image control. PC stands for Perspective Control. You can shift the lens barrel of a PC-Nikkor to 11mm off-axis and rotate it a full 360 degrees. This gives you truely full image control. PC lenses are convenient for correcting the distortion caused by horizontal and vertical lines in architectural and interior photography, or for avoiding obstacles in front of your subject.
This is a strictly manual lens including the diaphragm operation.
