Built to deliver smooth visuals for desktops, laptops, and other compatible devices, the VA279HG 27" Eye Care Monitor from ASUS delivers wide 178° viewing angles and vivid images. A 120 Hz refresh rates and a 1 ms (MPRT) response time help eliminate screen tearing and choppy frame rates for a smoother experience. Also featured is TUV Flicker-free and Low Blue Light technologies to help deliver a more comfortable viewing experience.

The VA279HG features IPS panel technology and its 120 Hz refresh rate means that the display refreshes 120 times per second. A response time of 1 ms means color changes will be virtually imperceptible. Lastly, coverage for 99% of the sRGB color gamut delivers a wider color space and more lifelike images, while Adaptive-Sync and VRR synchronizes the display's refresh rate to the frame rate of the graphics card to greatly reduce or eliminate stuttering, juddering, and tearing during gaming and video playback.

ASUS built this display with a non-glare surface, a native resolution of 1920 x 1080, support for 16.7 million colors, a widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio, a static contrast ratio of 1500:1, and 300 nits brightness. Connectivity is achieved using one HDMI 1.4 port, one VGA port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. To further help improve viewing and accessibility, the display features a tilt of -5 to 23°.
