This B&H Kit includes the Rode VideoMic Pro battery-powered shotgun microphone with a 3-stage gain control and bass roll-off, a shoe-/boompole-compatible Rycote Lyre shockmount attached to the mic, and an Auray custom furry windshield, providing a flexible mic setup for quality indoor or outdoor audio recording using any camcorder or HDSLR camera, no plug-in power required. The Auray windshield slips over the VideoMic Pro to deliver effective wind noise reduction and minimal high-frequency loss without impeding the microphone's shockmount or cable run.
