The Nikon FE was the replacment for the Nikon EL-2. The FE offered the same precise match-needle manual metering and aperture priority automatic metering in a more compact, lightweight package. The FE is compatible with Nikon MD-11 and MD-12 motordrives.
The FE features a durable metal body construction and classic centerweighted metering. It accepts the wide range of Nikon mount AI lenses.
