Originally I did not see this cap on the site, so I ordered a 37mm replacement cap from another company. Thinking 37mm is 37mm and it would snap right on, was incorrect. This Olympus cap snaps right on like it's supposed to.

The Olympus LC-37B Lens Cap is for lenses that have a 37mm filter thread. So it will NOT fit the Olympus M.ZUIKO Digital 17mm f/1.8 Lens.The Olympus LC-46 Lens Cap is the correct one.

It will work with the electronic zoom 14-42mm kit lens if you got it (check for the 37 - line through a circle - that shows lens filter diameter). You'll have to make sure the particular lens you're buying it for has a 37mm filter thread. It's printed on every Olympus lens, again, the number next to the circle. It will last a long time, if you don't abuse it.

Is it version IIR (see side of lens)? Does it say 37 on it? if its a 37mm it should fit.
