The Olympus LC-37B Lens Cap is for lenses that have a 37mm filter thread. So it will NOT fit the Olympus M.ZUIKO Digital 17mm f/1.8 Lens.The Olympus LC-46 Lens Cap is the correct one.

will this work with the pen epl8? and about how long will it last?
It will work with the electronic zoom 14-42mm kit lens if you got it (check for the 37 - line through a circle - that shows lens filter diameter). You'll have to make sure the particular lens you're buying it for has a 37mm filter thread. It's printed on every Olympus lens, again, the number next to the circle. It will last a long time, if you don't abuse it.

I have an Olympus Tough TG-4. Is this the correct lens cover? If not, can you tell me which one I need?
As far as I know, you can't really use a lens cover on TG-4 since it doesn't used an external lens like an E-M10 or E-PL 7 does. When I looked on Olympus site, under compatible products for lense, the TG series is not even listed.

I have the M.zuiko digital 14-42 mm 1:3,5-5,6 (it's the kit lens with the pen EPL 8) will this work for it?
Is it version IIR (see side of lens)? Does it say 37 on it? if its a 37mm it should fit.
