Why two microphones on the same clip? Is this redundancy in case of failure? Stereo? Something else? Newbie looking to learn.
Yeah it's for redundancy, 2 mics. Most people, myself included, only use the clip with one mic. The holders are removable and rotatable.

I haven't tried using on an ME2. Because of the shape and size of the ME2, this clip probably wouldn't be the best choice. This clip only secures the cable and might allow the ME2 to move too much.
