I recently lost the stock Fuji lens cap on my 27mm X-mount pancake lens. It had always been too loose and janky. This new Sensei lens cap fit perfectly, and HOLDS the way it should. Would definitely purchase again and recommend to others.
With exception of the cord tab and the textured design, I can't criticise these lens caps. The fit very tight, and don't come off. Bought as a replacement for Leica, Voigtlander and Zeiss M mount lens caps. The work fantastic. They don't fall off the lenses like those of the above mentioned brands. I just don't like the look, and would prefer a simpler design without the textured front and the cord tab.
I'm so glad the B&H rep found this solution for me. I'm not a Leica purist; I just wanted a cap to protect my collapsible 50mm Summicron. For less than $2.00, rather than $40.00 or more, this is more than I'd hoped for. It works. It fits snuggly, and if it wears out before I do I can buy twenty + more of them before I start losing money.
Works really well. Won't fall off at all. Just a little ugly. I also cut off the cord tab and polish the marks left behind.
Do you have Leica OEM 39mm clip-on lens caps. Well, I got tired of the Leica 39mm caps falling off when removing my camera out of the bag, or falling off just by looking at the cap! The Sensei 39mm Clip-On lens cap works! It has a tenacious hold on the lens and has never fallen off while handling my equipment. BTW, I just trim off that little loop used for attaching a string cap keeper. I now use Sensei caps for all my Leica M, Leica R, Nikon F and Nikon Z equipment.
