While the SEL24F18Z 24mm f/1.8 E-Mount lens can be used on the a7 and a7R, it is not a full frame lens. This means you will need to shoot in the cropped sensor mode with this lens.

On the a6000 series camera how does the image quality compare to the Sony fe 28mm f2.0 lens?
This is a higher quality lens than the Sony FE 28mm F2.0. This is a Zeiss Sonnar lens which has better caliber optics and a nicer overall build quality. It will product a superior overall image.

Hello.....Will this lens operate & fit seamlessly on my A6000 without the need to sacrifice any of the camera's functionality? Will this lens also display the A6000's 179 phase & 25 contrast detection point because my previous Sigma 19mm lens did not? When I attach this lens to my A6000 will it be suitable to photograph high speed close up indoor/outdoor sports like table tennis & volleyball etc?
This lens is intended for use with a Sony NEX camera with an APS-C size sensor, not with a full-size sensor. It may fit on the camera, but it will not use the full area of the sensor. Not recommended.
